At least there are sibelius staffers there. I don't use video with sibelius and I don't think any of the rest of us on here do either.

Re: Lyrics and Bar Numbers
Possible solutions - 1. turn off page justification (set justify when page is x% to either 0 or 100). Then you can set the staves to any distance that you want. 2. Triple click an empty part of the bottom staff to drag the whole of it at the same time. 3. Make the staff spacing lower (above and belo...

That's clearer!
However, without the score, it's difficult to suggest a solution.
At the end of the day, you have got to go with whatever gives the clearest result.

There is a downloadable plugin to do this. It can be found here: https://www.sibelius.com/download/plugins/index.html

Re: Lyrics and Bar Numbers
Bar numbers should be ON TOP of the relevant staff in parts and on top of specific staves in a score - depending on context, of course. It's not clear where you actually want them to be.

Re: sound won't come out of headphone jack
I'm not a mac user, but on windows this issue is quite common. You have to look at the signal path to make sure both sibelius and the macos are directing the output to the right place. Just because the audio file at the start is going to the right place is no guarantee that sibelius is sending its s...

Re: dotted pause with computer keyboard
Sadly, no. You can't. They have changed the way the keypad works. You'll have to retrain your fingers. I generally get by by doing a quick [left/right arrow] dance as it does work if you are not in note entry mode.

Re: Playback will not start past a certain measure
You have obviously got a broken repeat structure. Without seeing the file I can't tell you more.
If you zip the file, you can post it here or send it to my email address unzipped.

Re: Sibelius Ultimate subscription
That depends. If you have a subscriotion, stopping payment will reduce sibelius to the absolute minimum functionality of sibelius first. You would be better off going over to musescore. It's free and not that different to sibelius.

Re: Error Message while bringing up Sibelius
The ProgramData folder is hidden by default.
To see it, either set windows to show hidden folders or use %ProgramData% in the path (ie the percent signs either side).
Make sure you use the exact names/path shown in the message.

Re: Sound on 2nd screen
I'm only spit balling here, but it may be that your external monitor may have a sound driver which is taking over from your laptop's internal speakers. However, if you don't have speakers connected to your monitor, you won't hear anything. Check the settings under audio engine options and choose a d...

If you can login to your myAvid account, vyou can find your details there. If not, email ingrid.guce@avid.com, who will likely be able to help. There has been no viable phone help since covid. You could also try using the various facebook groups this looks useful https://www.facebook.com/AvidSibelius.
