Re: Changing all bar rests to normal rests
Mike, it would help readability when time signatures interchange often and are quite irregular. It would significantly help with counting when I and my partners read it/ learn it. The other problem with the solution above is that, if I select the entire score and only filter to select bar rests, I a...

Re: Changing all bar rests to normal rests
If you select all the bars concerned and press any value on the numpad smaller than your bar's length, the bar rests will be broken up. Hi Mike, This is very helpful. To push a bit further, is there a way in which there can simply be no bar rests without manual changing of that sort? The reason I a...

Changing all bar rests to normal rests
Hello, Is it possible to transform all 'bar rests' into normal rests? Although Bar rests can be useful, it would help readability for me especially in cases where the time signature is odd or just different from a 4/4. Is it possible to either turn off a feature that automatically creates bar rests,...

Thank you Mike,MikeLyons wrote:You could probably do it in Advanced filter, but it would be very hit and miss unless the wanted notes are always on the same beats.

adding rests when a note aligns with another note
Hello, I was wondering if this is possible to do without manually going through it: Suppose you have two instrumental parts that have different notes, but some of the notes are played on the same beat. Is there a non-manual or less manual way to replace in one part, all the notes that happen to alig...

Photoscore score display vanished
Hi, I recently worked on a score I scaned into photoscore. I saved and closed. When I returned to work
on it, I noticed the original-score display was gone. I cannot for the life of me find the toggle for it.
Please help!
Thanks

Re: pedal mark functions unclear - end of pedal mark skipped
Mike, Thank you. I did attempt to add the pedal below the staff as well, achieving the same effect. The forum does not allow me to pos .Sib Files nor .mid unfortunately. The problem is, I have tried 3 VSTis that respond the same. I have times in which the first note is selected as opposed to the ful...

pedal mark functions unclear - end of pedal mark skipped
Hello! I recently input a piece into sibelius that contains pedal marks. Sibelius played them correctly until I plugged in a VST: Synthogy Ivory. The playback became incorrect - and pedal 'offs' became ignored. The sound of the pedal ons from both measures overlaps. I tried two other VSTs that react...
