Thank you Mike. I've done that but still the transposition does not work. I had selected electric guitar initially. When the problem arose I tried changing to acoustic guitar and then to classic guitar (both notation). All had the same problem.

Sibelius Ultimate is not transposing the electric guitar part up an octave from the full score. if I transpose the guitar part the full score also gets transposed. What can I do to correct this problem?

Sibelius does recognize an installed font which is not part of the font choices offered initially. Use a plain text (on blank page)to create the words and then edit that selected text (in the text header). Search the font choices and select the installed font. This is a simple solution. I wish to import a font not found in Sibelius. The font is installed in my computer but cannot access it in Sibelius. The requested font is for title information on blank page(s).
