I bought the Ultimate Sibelius for 1 year. Went to Avid link and activated Ultimate before I deactivated Sib 8.3
How do I "back out" and do this upgrade in the right order?

Also I saw a review on Sweetwater re a Sib purchase, thanking them for helping them get activated and back up and running. Then yet another complaint re: Avid, saying they couldn't get them to respond...Thank goodness for Sweetwater etc.

Isn't it also true that Sibelius COULD offer tech support/upgrades @ reasonable rates rather than to ONLY offer people support if they forfeit their perpetual ownership for a not so cheap open-ended mo. subscription. I've used mine for 20+ years-but now I can't. Sad.

Well, no I don't like that, but Id' heard it might be Apple's fault!

I too am trying avoid the apparent "one pricey option" of forfeiting my Sib ownership in return for an upgrade and tech support. Help!! Audio is great on all counts as far as I can tell, but no sound on note entry only. However Post entry, I can click the new note just entered and it sounds. I get sound when I enter notes from keyboard, but not the mouse and keypad!! And once the note is in, I can enter intervals harmonically...
