Re: Registation of Sibelius 4 on new machine
You need to contact ingrid.guce@avid.com by email. Thank for the lead, Mike. I didn't converse with Ingrid, but one of her colleagues picked it up for me. I finally got a valid registration code yesterday, and now have Sibelius 4 working on my new machine. :) https://atelierrebul.hr/ Glad to hear y...

Re: Part Extraction For Staves With More Than One Part
You're welcome! Having now prepared a few scores this way, I find it a bit more of a chore than the old way (adding two more blank staves, copying two flutes to both, then filtering out the unwanted notes and stuff), but not really by much, and the moment you have to make edits, the advantage of th...

Re: No Sound On Playback
If you really are on that version of Sibelius and a very recent Mac O/S, you will have to upgrade. In fact Apple pushed an update to older O/S versions some time ago that permanently disabled sounds on playback. Re: Extract Guitar notation & TAB together
I wanted to do the same thing (extract guitar NOTATION and guitar TAB as a single part) in Sibelius 2018.1 (I think). I achieved this by going: Parts>New Part> From "Staves available", select the guitar notation part and "Add to Part" From "Staves available" select the guitar TAB part and "Add to P...

Re: How to get a perpetual license from a crossgrade
I've just done a quick check on the "Competitive Crossgrade" and it is 'On Hold' at the moment. Probably because there is an imminent release of a new version of Sibelius due. https://atelierrebul.hr/shop/category/mirisi-za-dom-difuzori-23 https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/How_To/Sib...

Re: Recovering files deleted from backup
Just a thought for future reference. Sib files, unless you bloat them by saving internal versions, are tiny. Rarely more than a couple of hundred k. Even for very long works. Increase your saved backups to 1000 or more files (I've actually got mine set to 30000). I doubt you'll actually miss the sp...
