I don't use the ESC key much except in Sibby 6, but I just tried it on YouTube and, no, it's not working there, either. So, it's got something to do with the new Snow Leopard. Being a musician and not a tech-savy person, I could use some help about this problem. Thanks in advance...

Esc (Escape Key) Just stopped working!
Hi - Just upgraded to Snow Leopard on my iMac, went to use the ESC key in Sibby 6, and...nothing...dead in the water. Went to Preferences and tried to re-input it for my own set of keyboard shortcuts...no could do. All they had was the "clover key" (never sure what that's called) and a "period" (.)....

Panorama view bar numbers
Maybe that's something the Sibby boys could fix. Possibly make these numbers translucent?

Bar numbers in "scroll view" in the way!
Hi - Love Sibby 6 on my iMac, but for the last year, I've been "living" with those small bar numbers that appear in what I call the "scroll" view (never ending...). I finally started to explore a way to raised them up so they wouldn't interfere with the chord symbols, tempo markings, etc, but I have...

Flexi-Time Countoff MAJOR PROBLEM!
Hi - I'm a fairly fast user, but somehow I think I hit a keyboard combination that turned off the 1 bar count-off when using Flexi-time. I checked the Fleix-time Options but found nothing about a count-off. Anybody know how to solve this? Thanks in advance...

Two-handed octaves
I'm writing an extended part for piano. Both hands are playing the same note an octave apart. Is there a simple method for just playing in the octaves, hitting a "magic plug-in" and have the stems go up on the right and and down on the left? I know I can input using two voices, but it would be much ...

GPO Help
Just downloaded to my iMac Core Duo GPO 4, installing all as suggested. I followed all instructions and had it installed with no problem. However, I couldn't find the GPO application. I did find Aria Player in my applications. Read that you had to start Sibby, then open up GPO in Sibby. Opened Sibby...

Best Firewire External Hard Drive
Hi - I've got about 3.75 GB of Sibelius and PDF files. I'd like to get a firewire (400) external hard drive for back-up. With this small amount, a 500GB would be more fine though a bit of an over kill. Anyone have any suggestions?

Importing audio, or how can I do this
I've got a vocal quartet. I can put it into an mp3 or similar. I want to write an orchestral arrangement for it and have both the quartet and the arrangement, using the instruments in Sibby 6, put onto an mp3. How do I go about doing this? I've got DP5. Should (or can I) import the sound file to it,...

Larger D.S. Coda signs
I would like to have the D.S. and Coda symbols larger. When I enlarge the type, it enlarges these symbols, but it enlarges the written "D.S. al coda," etc. as well.

Booting DP5 while running Sibby 6
Weird - I was running Sibby 6 and wanted to boot up DP5. Wouldn't work. DP5 started to boot, "beach ball" went 'round, but the it just quit-no info box or question box. Then I quit Sibby 6 and booted DP5 with no problem. Any ideas? Can these two programs run on an iMac 2.16 GHz Core Duo (1.5 Gig) at...

Thanks, but one more question on blank measures
Thanks for the info. I tried it and, bingo, it worked. The only other difficulty I have is blank bars in the middle of a group of 4 or 8 or so that don't group together. Someone suggested the "Where is it" in the Plugin area. I've tried saving the actual notes in other staves, deleting the entire me...
