finale files to G7

Hey folks. I'm trying to get G7 to open finale 2007 files using the instructions and converting the finale file to ETF. The f with arrows appears replacing the finale scroll and appears to be ready. I open in G7, the info boxes appear, and the loading box appears and then disappears and I'm left wai...

"I suggest you work your way through the tutorial at the beginning of your G7 User Guide to learn how to use G7's input method a bit more comfortably." dspreadbury! (when in doubt follow the instructions) I started from scratch and discovered the letter "N" which allowed me to enter chords and notes...

Notation entry question.

Hi folks. In finale I can use simple entry and put a note or chord in line and when I'm finished with that note or chord I simply mouse click to the next note or chord and click it in. With G/finale I can enter notes etc, with simple entry all with a mouse and do it proficiently without jumping through...

Sebasian! Thanks for your quick response. I'm not trying to put more or fewer rests than the timing for each bar, what I'm used to with finale is simple entry rests with the mouse. What I think I'm having problems with is the greater usage of the keyboard rather than the mouse as in Finale. It's mor...

Rests!!

I have S/G7 and would like to be able to manually put rests where I want them, not where the program assumes in standard notation. I also have Finale and the rests have their own tool bar. I am intrigued With G7 as a guitarist / teacher and I like the instruments but am having trouble with the place...

garritan jabb

I am a finale user but after looking at the G7 specs I bought it and loaded it today.
The question I have is, Is there a way to use my G/jabb in G7 and if so how could I make that happen?
