I looked on the ribbon and choose note input and one of the options is Re-input Pitches which is exactly what I was looking for. Your post let me to that.
Thanks.

Re: Change notes, leave expressions
I want to keep the rhythm the same, and then input the pitches. Not transposition.

Change notes, leave expressions
I have a score with all of the notes and expression text and hairpins entered. Now I want to change all of the notes, but keep the expression text in place. I use step-time input.
It seems like I have heard of a quick way to do this. Can anyone help?

Re: 2 brass quartets
Thanks so much. I am wondering if Choir is the best word since it brass. Do you have another suggestion?

2 brass quartets
I have an arrangement for 2 brass quartets that is essentially '2 choirs'. I want the score to specifically note that, so a conductor would know which quartet to cue if they are spaced apart. I have separated the bar lines between quartets and added a system spacer, but I want it clear that it is re...

Re: End of a system
2018.7 You are a Sibelius god! I really haven't had to import that many xml files and just jumped in and started looking for things that needed to be changed. I imagine all those steps you listed are in the 'manual'. I appreciate all of the time that you took to look at my score and provide such a d...

Re: End of a system
And now I see that in both trumpet parts that the key signature change in bar 95 is on the wrong side of the barline.
Are these oddities perhaps because I imported the XML file from an old finale file?
Thank

Re: End of a system
Thanks so much. I am attaching the file. The problem occurs in the clarinet 1 part at bar #95.
Again, thanks.

Re: End of a system
Thanks for your suggestions. This was a clarinet part from a score and I had made some changes to layout including bars in a system around that bar. When I tried your suggestion it was a mess.
Then I exported the file and I was able to do as you suggested.

End of a system
When there is a key signature change followed by a double bar at the end of the system, there is extra space after the double bar. I am not sure if I explained that clearly. I am sending an attachment showing the problem.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Position of Dynamics
Thanks, Mike. I had never used that before. It did a terrific job on most of the staffs.
It didn't work on the current tenor sax staff. I added a second tenor sax staff, copied everything from the old to the new. Then deleted the old and did the reset position on the new staff. Yeah.
Thanks so much

Re: Position of Dynamics
Since the file was an older FINALE file the dynamics and hairpins, etc. are not spaced well at all. My plan is to delete all the dynamics in this file and then enter them with Sibelius. Now I am thinking about adding another tenor sax staff and copying the contents of the current tenor sax part. The...

Position of Dynamics
I have a file for band that was originally input in FINALE. I switched to Sibelius quite some time ago and wanted to work on this in Sibelius. I exported it from FINALE and opened it in Sibelius (2018.7). For the most part it is very good, however I want to delete the dynamics and then re-add them i...
