Quantize Question

After I record something in Sib. I go to Renotate Performance (quantizing). I used to be able to choose the 1/8 note from the drop down menu. Something changed. The two choices I have now are 1/32 or 1/16. In order to get to the 1/8 note choice, I have to choose 1/16 because the 1/8 choice is not av...

Re: Is This Possible?

I just figured this out if anyone is interested. I bit the bullet and actually tried reading the manual. First I started reading about Live Tempo which is actually setting the tempo by tapping it in. You can also put in ritards and other things like accelerando. But, what I did was using the metrono...

Is This Possible?

I'm writing a long piano piece with a couple of tempo changes. Some of it is in 4/4 and some in 3/4. The 4/4 part is faster than the 3/4 part. I tried changing the tempo in the Transport window in the 3/4 part, but it's not slowing down. It will go into 3/4, but the tempo stays the same as the 4/4 p...

Re: Lot of Views...NO Answers

Mike, thanks for responding. As you know my question didn't have anything to do with chord symbols, it had to do with the size of the font which you did answer and that creating a manuscript paper was the easiest way to go. Thanks. On another note, I didn't know that this board was "resurrected from...

Lot of Views...NO Answers

I thought someone would know the answer to what seems to be a simple question. "Changing the size of chord font". I can make the font larger, but how do I make it as a permanent default at the larger size? Don't want to keep making the chord symbols bigger each time I enter them either in my score o...

Changing The Size of Chord Font.

I know how to make the chord names above the staff larger in the Text mode, but how do I make the larger size as a default so that every time I type in the chord names they are the new size?
Thanks.

Thanks Mike. Went to Appearance like you suggested and changed the default positions and it worked

Changing Chord Name Position?

When I type in the chord names above the staff they are too high for my liking and I always have to highlight them and pull them down closer to the staff. Is there a way of changing that off set and having the chord names appear closer to the sfaff when I type them in automatically? This would save ...

Re: Moving A Measure

Mike, I just figured out how to do this. To move the first measure from the top of the right page to the bottom staff of the first page, which is the left page, you highlight the entire left page and also highlight that first measure at the top of the right page then go to Layout and choose Make Int...

Re: Moving A Measure

Mike, tried what you suggested and it did nothing. I'm using a Mac. What I'm talking about is the very first measure at the top of the right page, moving that measure to the bottom of the left page so, that measure will become the last measure at the bottom of the left page.

Moving A Measure

I want to move 1 measure from the top of the right page to the bottom left stave of the left page. I want to make that bottom stave on the left page 5 measures instead of 4 which it is now. How would I go about doing this? By the way, this is in the Alto sax part, not the score. Thanks.

Mike, I see you are using A4 instead of US Letter. How come?

Re: Printing Does Not Match Score?

Trying PDF print out is a good idea, but it's producing the same results as when I choose Fit to Page. It has all the correct measures, but it's printing out a smaller score. I think my printer drivers are up to date, but I'll check it.

Re: Printing Does Not Match Score?

I went to Scale Fit to Paper and it worked. It printed out the full measure only without the barline at the end of the bar which is no big deal. The only problem with Fit to Paper is the entire score is smaller and a little harder to read. What I usually do, and it always worked until now, is try to...

Re: Printing Does Not Match Score?

Mac OS Mojave V. 10.14.5
Epson XP 410 Printer
As you can see the actual score shows bar 36 as a full measure and in Print mode it shows bar 36 as a half measure and this is what I would get when I print it out. If you need more information please let me know.
