Spelling Out A Chord

I wrote out Bmi+7 and it's in red not black. Is this the wrong spelling for a B minor with a major 7th?

Problem: Sibelius Stopped Working.

Sibelius was working fine about 2 hours ago. Now it won't open. The logo comes on the screen and that's it. It won't open and it's got me worried because all my scores are there. I have back up, but Sibelius still has to open.

How do I fix this?

When working on the drum staff and using different voices: 1 for snare, 2 for bass drum etc, is there a way of not getting all the rests in there. I usually erase them after they appear which is very annoying and the upper voice (th...

Re: Changing an instrument in a score

Mike, I'm doing something wrong. I deleted the name Soprano Sax and typed in Alto Sax 1 at the very beginning of the score, right before the first bar, hit save and then hit Transposing Score button. It didn't change the Also Sax to the right key which should be a sixth higher. It changed it as thou...

Changing an instrument in a score

I want to change from soprano sax to alto sax, at the beginning of the score, not some place else. I can type in the name alto sax, but that doesn't change the transportation. I need to change to alto sax which means the transposition would also change.
Thanks.

Re: Repeat Sign With Brackets?

Mike, thanks for the reply. You really must know Sibelius quite well to have known that. You have to know what to look for. It didn't occur to me to look under barlines/winged in the index. That's where it is. All these things I learn from people like you and the things I learn on my own has prompte...

Repeat Sign With Brackets?

Does anyone know where I can find repeats signs with flared ends swinging up on top of the bracket and down from the bracket. Looked in Sibelius and it doesn't have it. I created one of my own. Is there a way of importing it into Sibelius? I tried posted an attachment of the one I created, but it's ...

Looking for the gentleman from Seattle.

late last year a gentleman, who knows SmartScore, helped me with SmartScore. Can't remember his name. I could use your help again.
If you read this please leave your name and phone number.

Re: WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

it's not an import, but I may have played this in with my midi keyboard, don't remember. It's not a big deal anyway because as you said it doesn't print out.
Thanks for the reply.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

I'm getting those faded numbers next to the chord symbols. It doesn't happen through out the entire score, just in the beginning.
