How can I copy the barline and rehearsal mark info?

I find myself regularly in the position of creating the same arrangement in multiple keys, or re-copying an arrangement from a score to a second score. But when I copy the parts, the copy does not retain the rehearsal marks, double-bar and repeat bar data. Is there a way to include this info in the ...

Wow! Thanks, I did NOT see that, and it is exactly what I need.

is there a way to temporarily shift staff order?

I find myself wanting to work from, for example, an alto sax part to work out the trombone line. It would be very convenient if I could just drag the alto saff down to the bones, then move it back when I'm done, but I do not see a reasonable way to do this (my current option, if implemented, is to c...

A simple dialog to merge data from two staves

Copying cues especially would be helped by this option. Copy from one staff, and instead of Paste or Paste As Cue, the dialog would read Merge or Merge as Cue...

Copying cues to drum parts

OK, so I have a layer of notation which does not play on voice 1, a hidden layer of drum notes that do play on voice 2 and now i need to add cues from instrumental tracks. I want to copy a bar or two from trumpet one time (treble clef transposed) and trombone the next (bass clef, non-transposed) and...

No sound from JABB instruments...

I have added the Jazz and Big Band plug, but when I select one of these instruments, there is no sound, even though I have dynamic markings on the track. If i switch tithe regular Sibelius lib, they play fine. Do I need to add a cc7 or 11 somewhere to make these work? And if so, how? Thanks. I shoul...

Mixer Group Strips-how to edit?

I have broken out the big band brass section to keep trumpets and bones separate (thanks, Sebasian!) This looks fine on paper, but the Mixer Group strips still maintain only one slider for all brass. I need separate volumes for trumpets and bones, without using the individual instrument sliders. How...

Re: Brackets across families - how to alter?

Is there a straightforward method of doing this . . . 1. Grab the bottom 'wing' of the bracket with the mouse and drag it up to the bottom trumpet staff. 2. Now select the top trombone staff and select Create > Other > Bracket or Brace >Bracket . 3. Drag the bottom 'wing' of the newly created brack...

Brackets across families - how to alter?

I would like to split the default big band layout so the trombones and trumpets are treated as separate entities, rather than beamed together in score view. Is there a straightforward method of doing this without starting from scratch? I'd like to apply it to already-created scores.

The sound is low if there are no dynamics presented (try entering an mf at the top of the line) or if they are low. I had the same issue, and still do on soft sections. But the dynamic range works well the way they have it configured, so I just turned everything up and live with it...

FWIW, you can open the midi files, Sib will create A score, but probably not nice and pretty like the original, you'll have to position things and change enharmonics, etc. Depends on how much info in the midi file...

That's a help, thanks, S. Any clues as to why the Drum Part Creator writes it's swing patterns twice as fast as the music? Or how to alter it?

Drums again - sorry...

I've read the posts about drum writing, but I still have several significant issues. I want a simple 4/4 swing pattern, BD on 1 and 3, ride on the standard quarter-two eighths swing pattern. I want to be able to hide this in the majority of bars, and display the bar repeat symbol, but still sound wh...
