So, have you checked this? (image)
Also, if a system object is not in the first bar of a rest, it can often be hidden.

Re: Registration on replacement desktop
What is the OS of your new machine? If it's a Mac with Big Sur give up now.
If it is windows, you will have to raise a case with Avid registration support http://avid.force.com/Support/RegistrationCaseCreation

Re: way to notate arpeggios across staves
I'm confused! I posted a full reply to this query a few hours ago and it seems to have disappeared. I wouldn't run the arp line to top/bottom of the staves. See image. Top note in voice 3, [ctrl][shift][uparrow] onto upper staff, lengthen (drag) the stem to hit the lower notes. Use the arpeggio on t...

Re: What would be the correct notation in this situation?
Here are some suggestions:
Don't forget - you need to turn off magnetic layout for the slur if you are cross-staffing it.

Ok, I lied!
Your question intrigued me. Does the following file help?
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9b7jeie18btgu ... S.sib?dl=0
It's in Sib 7 format. If you need it earlier, just let me know.

Re: Flexi-Time Count-In Tempo
Of course, you could just move the new tempo marking back a couple of bars, temporarily...?

Re: Is this possible?
The best way to do it would be to use an external graphics or publishing program, get it saved as an svg and import it into Sibelius.

Re: Flexi-Time Count-In Tempo
Without seeing the score, we can only guess what is going wrong. My first thought is that your tempo mark is attached to the wrong place or that the slider in the transport panel is not in the middle. Check the tempo showing in the transport panel to see if it shows 60. Also, if the previous piece i...

Re: What would be the correct notation in this situation?
Although in earlier versions of sibelius it was easier to do cross staff slurs (I'm talking version 4/5/6) they can still be done, but it's a bit of a faff. This is one area, I think, where sibelius has actually gone backwards.

That is NOT a caesura!

Re: Using Kontakt sounds in Sibelius Ultimate
I don't use Kontakt with Sibelius because I just found it too fussy. I want to spend my time composing and arranging, not fiddling with the machinery! With every vsti, there is an xml file that is placed in the folder (image) vstfolder.png Be aware that Sibelus does not handle vst3, only vst2 (unlik...
