Make sure too that you use Voice 1 for the higher parts and Voice 2 for the lower parts when you do this.
Well worth readind the Reference "Working with Voices" section as all this is well covered there.

Similar set-up here, with Terratec and M-Audio cards. You're saying that the soundcard is getting no audio? Check that the playback device you're using in Sibelius (Sibelius Player, Kontakt Player or whatever) is set to use the correct drivers. If you've already done so, I'm stumped for the moment, ...

If you're using Soundfonts, I guess you have a Creative Soundblaster card, which can load and use them. In which case it should be possible to make Sibelius 'see' it, but I can't help you with the details, as Creative products were banned 'chez moi' some years ago. There may be a Soundblaster forum ...

As I said in an earlier post, there may still be a VSTi that can handle soundfonts. One of the sample players like Native Instruments' Kompakt, perhaps. And I repeat my advice about GPO4, which works seamlessly with Sibelius. For top quality solo strings, check out Garritan's Stradivari and Gofrille...

No offence meant, my friend, but it was indeed a very basic question. I'm sure you won't be surprised to learn that a great many posts from apparent newbies (# of posts = 1 or 2 etc) also ask very basic questions that they could have answered themselves if they'd looked at even the first few pages o...
