Re: Export from Photoscore/Import into Sibelius causes key signature to change
Also, try to make sure your score is as good as it can be in Photoscore before sending to Sibelius. Clear all bad timing errors, make sure notes are all present and correct and in the right voice, clefs, time signatures, dynamics, bar lines etc. Basically everything. PS can make a lot of mistakes, e...

Re: Using Filters to Select Articulations
Once you've selected the notes with the staccatos, just press the staccato symbol from the keypad to turn them off (i.e. toggle them).

Re: What the heck is this?
That's called the Playback Line and is always there by default. This is from the manual: Playback line: the green vertical line that shows where in the score Sibelius is playing back or will play back. You can turn it off (at least in Sibelius 7.5) by unticking Playback Line under View > Invisibles.

Re: Superman Theme Triplet?
You could turn the last crotchet (quarter note) into 2 quavers (eighth notes), turn them into triplet quavers (Ctrl 3), make the first quaver a crotchet and proceed from there.

Re: "Add note names" in scandinavian?
If you want to add note names to the noteheads with the Add note names function I don' think you can do this easily. It uses the Opus Note Names Std font which (as far as I can tell) doesn't even have the H notehead. Changing languages (e.g. to German) makes no difference. If you have a font editor ...

Re: How do I delete a divisi section?
You can use Advanced Filter on the Home page, go to Notes and Chords then untick Voice 1 (for blue notes) or Voice 2 (for green notes) Select, then delete to remove the notes. Alternatively you can run the plugin called Delete Voice 1 or Delete Voice 2 on your selection. The functions Arrange and Ex...

Re: A3 and layout
Have you tried changing the Width and Height parameters (underneath the Page size box)? This changes the Page size to Custom. I guess this should be all right as long as you know what dimensions you need. You can do a Google search on A paper sizes for the dimensions of standard page sizes in inches...

Re: Export selected audio
Well, I suppose you could ask Bob Zawalich if he could combine the two plugins. He wrote both and is still active on the 'official' Sibelius forum (you need to register if not already done so).

Re: Export selected audio
Great! I may well use it myself some time. It's a 'new feature' to me too, after 13 years of Sibelius, and still learning new things.
Amazing what pops up when you dig around!

Re: Export selected audio
Yes, there's a plugin called (perhaps unsurprisingly) Export Selection As Audio in the Playback selection of plugins. Haven't used it so can't comment on how well it works (or not). If you don't already have it you can install via Sibelius File > Plugins or manually by going to: http://www.sibelius....

Re: Hand claps in sib 6
The built-in Sibelius 6 sound set already has hand claps, if you have that installed. If you go to Create > Instruments > Family > Others you should see Hand claps in the Instruments panel. Add that to your score and you're set, just add your rhythms. May not be the best samples in the world, but it...

Re: Natural sharp as cautionary
You may have found this workaround on the net: if you add a gracenote with a double sharp before the single sharped note then you get the natural sharp signed note. You can hide the false grace note and turn off the play on passes in inspector. Obviously not ideal, but there it is.

Re: Getting Bar Numbers Closer to Staff
Go to Engraving Rules > Bar Numbers Look in the Vertical position area. You'd want to have Below bottom of staff selected. Then change the value in the Parts section of Relative to Staff box, this is amount of space below the staff for the bar numbers in parts. Maybe try 2 or 3. You shouldn't have t...

Re: Tuplet not allowed in 2nd voice
Thanks for the information and solution.
For the record, this issue does seem to have been fixed in later versions. e.g. Sibelius 7.5 that I'm using.

Re: Chord symbol spacing AND staff spacing (2 separate questions)
Here are my suggestions (based on Sib 7.5): 1. Select all > Filters > Chord Symbols > Inspector (Ctrl/Cmd Shift I) > Change the Y setting to a +/- value to place the chord symbols 2. In Layout ribbon: use Reset Space - Above and Below on the whole selected score. For more or less space between stave...
