KJ, thanks for your response. I'll check out your suggestion and post back as to what I found. In mean time I created a new score from memory, very time consuming, fortunately it was a small score. Thanks again.

I accidentally erased the notes in a sketched score that I'm starting. As I write I constantly press save. Is it possible to find one of the saved versions? I can't believe I did this.

No need to reply I figured it out my self by reading the manual. I can't believe I actually read the manual.

I'm trying to add a staff to the score I'm working on and everything is grayed-out. At the top of the window it says: Review Mode - Reactivate Sibelius to continue working on this score. How do I reactivate Sibelius? Thanks.

Mike, looking thru this post again. What is the "sib. file" and where do I find it?

Yeah, this stuff about page and system breaks is foreign to me, but I'll keep working on it. The page is starting to look better, not there yet, but better. KJ and Mike thanks for your help. Greatly appreciated.

I want to move a piano double staff from the top of the right page to the bottom of the left page. I read somewhere by deleting the page break at the top of the right page will move that staff to the bottom of the left page and it worked, but now I have another staff at the top of the right page and...

That plugin, "Tie to second ending" works great. Thanks for telling me about it. Saves a lot of time.

I looked at all the plug-ins and didn't see it. I may have found a work around it by using the "slur". On the Mac keyboard it's the S key. You have to play with it a little, but it works. The plug-in you mentioned "Tie into 2nd ending", sounds like the right one, but don't see it in my Sibelius.

How do I tie the last note of the bar before the first ending to the first note of the second ending? Enclosed is a screenshot of what I mean.

The three dots: when you click on the left one it closes the page you're on, the middle dot minimizes the screen and the right dot when you click on it closes the window down to the lower right of the screen. This may just be a Mac thing.

I notice when I open some scores the 3 dots at the upper left hand corner are visible and on some scores they are not. Mike, I'm able to adjust the height of the chord symbols according to your directions and it's working great. It's also a good feature to have my big band template visible in the QuickStart and new dialog. Thanks, and again you are not being rude.

When I was growing up height meant vertical position too and it still does....what are you talking about? I didn't think you were being rude.
