Re: Printer Problems
Or perhaps, try exporting as a bitmap and see how that prints.

Re: Multirests not working
With the part open, doesn't Layout/Show Multirests toggle them on and off?

Re: chord symbols and font
Perhaps look up "Engraving Rules" or "House Styles" in your manual? What is in the Layout tab?

Re: Title page margins
Ah well, if there's one thing I've learned about software, it's that "should have" doesn't always have much relation to reality

Can you post a screen shot of the measures in question?

Re: Too many chord symbols when Add From Notes
No idea why that happened. No plugin is perfect. I don't think you did anything wrong. I would delete the extras.

Re: Title page margins
I suppose you could use a word processor, instead of Sibelius. Do the steps I posted not work? Especially if you're going to merge anyway. As far as Sibelius being smart enough. All bets are off. I wonder if you had done the title page first, then changed the margins for the score, if that would hav...

Re: Export PDF from transposing score
Doesn't make any difference if I open the horn part first or not. You can export whatever parts you want from the export list.

Re: Export PDF from transposing score
OK. I just opened an orchestra score of mine. Turned off transposing score (made it concert pitch). Opened the horn in F part just to make sure it was concert pitch, Went to Export/export parts separate files. Selected horn in F. Export. Result-horn part in concert pitch-even though it was labeled '...

Re: Export PDF from transposing score
You have two choices for individual parts export. At least in 7.5 1. Selection of Parts (separate files). Select the parts you want as transposing. Then set your score to non-transposing and select the parts you want printed as non-transposing. 2. Selection of parts (one file) does the same thing bu...

Re: changing keys, need to see new signatures
Example:
Select all of verse 3. Transpose by key (up to D major) OK. While V 3 is still selected, right click to bring up menu to select Key Signatures. Select D major in the window. Verse 3 is now in D major with the proper signature. When you change keys after the fact, it's a two step process.

Re: How to repeat specific number of times
Or you could export (as audio) the section you want to repeat. Most media players have a loop or repeat function. Audacity has a loop function. Audacity is a very useful free audio recording, mixing and player program. Exporting frees you from being tied to Sibelius while you are practicing.

Re: Piano score
One method would be to use the "Arrange" function. Read about it in the manual. There's also a Filter that helps copy and paste of various voices.

Re: Title page margins
Hopefully someone who knows will answer. Because I don't. In the mean time, here is what I would do. I assume you want your score saved as a PDF. If so, go ahead and make a PDF of what you have. Then start a new score title page with the margins you want. Save the title page as a PDF and amend it to...
