Re: Guitar notation without tab 7.5
Do you mean chord diagrams? As in the fretboard diagrams that show fingering?

Re: Another Problem?
You might add another bass instrument and put some notes in it to see if it is the score or the staff.

Re: Guitar notation without tab 7.5
Interesting. 7.5 does not have that option.

Re: Issues with Mixer Panel and Playback volumes
Some instruments respond better to the faders that others. Distortion guitar ONLY responds to it's fader. I tend to leave the faders alone and use dynamics in the score. Well, except for timpani with full orchestra. Then I have to use ff or fff with the fader full up.

Re: Trouble Shooting: Double Barlines
I think this is what you want at this point. To join the two scores together: Select the last measure of the first piece with the first measure of the second piece(all instruments). In the Home tab, select Bars/Join. Fill out the pop-up window. That should make them one piece again. To make a page b...

Re: Record constantly changing bpm by tapping
First get the notes down. Then figure out tempos. Use a metronome to get close, put that in your score. Adjust as necessary. It may not be exact. I'll bet they don't do it exactly the same each time.

Re: Colored layer
That would be handy. I don't know. You could use the play back line or delete measure. That makes a purple vertical line. Just don't actually delete. If you have a lot of vertical work, I suppose you could add a measure then delete it later. Or just continue to scroll up and down a put stuff in the ...

Re: Playback issues in 2019.5
The fourth WW line plays starting at m 46, But not for the rest of the time. Seems as though these are part of the same score. Which is first? If the no audio score is second, whatever is causing the problem could be at the end of the part that works. If I switch lite sounds, then everything plays. ...

Re: Playback issues in 2019.5
If you wouldn't mind exporting as a 7.5 Sib file, I'd be happy to take a look. Did you generate the score that doesn't work, or did it come from somewhere else? Even though it doesn't play back within Sibelius, what happens when you try to export and audio file? Is there sound if you click on a note...

Re: 8th notes misplaying
Less likely, but still possible, are things like a tutti section of a large score on an under powered computer. Panorama view, or having the Inspector open all the time can also cause playback problems.

Re: PC Purchase Advice
Everyone will have their own opinion. In the case of Sibelius, I can think of no compelling reason to go with a Mac. But that's just my opinion. Yes, Windows 10 looks a lot different than XP, but all the right-click functions are the same. That may or may not help. I have Sibelius on both a desk-top...
