Fixed in 7.0.1
Was a bug that is fixed in 7.0.1. QuickLook still takes ages to load, but at least it works now.

Sib7: Is QuickLook gone?
When I select a Sibelius file in Finder and press the space bar, quicklook opens, but all I see is the file-icon and not the sheet music. Sib6 had a quicklook plug-in. where is that? Did the Sibelius folks forget it or did they drop it or did sth brake with my installation?

I wish people would simply stop using the "h" instead of "b". I'm german my self and no one of my students is allowed to ever say or write h. It's simply confusing and unclear. If you use b and b-flat you can be sure to be understood worldwide. Also the naming of the notes is much more logical a,b,c...

Sibelius 7 is completely different. Sibelius 6 already had great improvements like magnetic layout and much better handeling in general compared to 5. In version 7 they rethought the whole UI and it received massive changes. I still have to get used to it and am only stumbling around since I don't g...

Sibelius 6.2 and Mac OS X Lion 10.7 compatibility?
Does anybody know any official status? What's happening? Already compatible? compatible at release date or seven months after? What's avids stance on this?

Got that done as well. Go to House Styles > Edit Insturments > Edit Instrument > Edit Staff-Type There I added the notehead #30 where I want to make use of it and selected the crash cymbal sound. For notehead #1 I selected Ride Cymbal and HH sound for the according staff and now everything is workin...

I found a solution. Here's what I did. Since changing the quarter notes of notehead #1 would make it impossible to write any HiHat or Ride Cymbal, I adjusted notehead #30. There I did, what musictranscriber suggested and changed the quarter note to "circled cross note" as the XwithCircle is actually...
