Re: Midi inputs are all greyed out
Look in Preferences/Input devices to make sure your keyboard is completely setup. If all you are looking for is note input from your M-Audio, you shouldn't have to worry about much else. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your keyboard, and that you turn it on before you open Sibelius. Double...

Re: plugin "reduce staves..." does not what it should ...
I have version 7.5. In the Note Input tap there is a reduce function. Seems to work well.
I don't have a "reduce staves to full score" plugin, however.

Re: Loopy Transport Panel
I still don't know what a crotchet is. Fortunately, I don't need to.
Italian seems to be the most universal musical language. But it still depends on what country the score was published in. I've run across French and German. Even some Latin.

Re: Editing instruments
A player needs to know what key the part is written in. It's not unusual for a player to read a Bb part on a C instrument. A part labled Trumpet is not helpful.

Re: Loopy Transport Panel
Don't use the transport to change the tempo. Add it to the score instead. Change it in the score, also. Find a tempo you like and leave it. That will also correct the transport.

Re: GoTo *Letter* (Rehearsal Marks)
Rehearsal marks are supposed to show up in the Timeline, and are selectable there. I've never used the Timeline myself.

Re: Ratchet won't stop
In the old days, there were three configuration folders to delete ( Sibelius rebuilds them on restart) that sometimes fixed things like this. I haven't had to do it in a long time.

Re: Accidentals not showing when notes switch staves
Please tell us which version of Sibelius on what OS you are using. Also, what method do you use to input notes? Did you get this sore into Sibelius with PhotoScore? I just tried this using the same notes you did and everything worked fine. I input notes with a mouse. I entered notes in a treble staf...

Re: Staves are overlapping to next page
What happens if you try to drag the overlapping bar line back to the left? Or make the staff size smaller?

Re: FX, How to install
You can not install any effect. Depending on your version of Sibelius, there should be reverb built in. Adjustable in the mixer and playback preferences. Otherwise you could add reverb with a third party program like Audicity.

Re: Unable to open Sibelius after Windows update
I've been thinking about this for a few days now. Of all the odd things software can do this is about the strangest. Software deactivating itself when wireless headphones are turned on? Unfortunately I don't have any wireless headphones to test this. I might be able to borrow some. Best I've been ab...

Re: Unable to open Sibelius after Windows update
I wonder what would have happened had you started from the Sib exe file in the Program folder? Some times desktop icons get corrupted and loose association with the program. Just a thought. Glad you got it going.

Re: Can I customize Playback Location Settings?
In my version of Sibelius, I select a note where I want playback to start and hit "P". Space bar stops playback. Hit "P" again to start playback from original selected position. Works until you do something like select a note to change some aspect of it. Then you have to go back and select a new, or...

Within the Export as Graphic setting there is also a PDF option. Try hat and the PNG option.
