Re: Drums notation
I've always found midi input of drum notation to be extremely unreliable. Using midi, the drum notation has to use channel 10. Some keyboards seem to have issues setting this up. After years of trying, I gave up and just started inputting by hand. In the end, it was too time costly to try to play th...

In a word - yes. You are allowed two concurrent activations for exactly this purpose. You can install the program on as many machines as you like, but only 2 can be activated at the same time.

Yes. Ignore any error message. Sib 6.x does not support any if the newer xml features so the results will need considerable post-editing.

The symbols you need are on the keypad, on one of the layouts (3?) Select the note to which you want them to apply and press the key on the keypad. They will only play with the correct sound when the piece is playing. Hi hat should be placed on the g space at the top of the staff. They should also u...

Re: Accidentals persist on the keypad after the note is entered?
I can't say I've heard if this happening. I've very recently transcribed apiece using the parts, to produce a new, clean score and not noticed this behaviour. I'm on 2023.11.1 in Windows 11. Im not sure if theres a setting fir this. I do believe that the behaviour of accidentals in the parts was cha...

Re: How Can I Turn Off Scrolling Text Feature?
Hi. I've heard of this being reported on macs and acknowledged as a bug. I am not certain, but it may have been fixed in 2023.11.1.

Re: Transposing from bass clef to treble clef
Input the notes from the part in non-transposing (bass clef) mode. I'd create a score using euphonium bass clef.
Then add a staff for euphonium Bb treble clef copy all the notes to it. Open the treble clef part and print that.

Re: Noteperformer 1.5 not working on Sibelius
NotePerformer has been re-designed twice since your version and I am fairly sure you can't make it work with later versions if sibelius, which has also undergone a number if structural changes - one of which IIRC has to do with locations of vst files and folders. I'm afraid your only choice is to up...

You don't say which version of the MacOS you are using. As Andy says, it might not be compatible with 2020.3.

Re: Saving a part as a pdf defaults to "Untitled"
If you have typed a title into the title field in the score info page, it will generally default to that. If you don't give the piece a title when you set it up, it doesn't have anything to substitute. If you believe you have given the piece a title, make sure you typed it into the Score info page f...

Re: playback won't.
Hi Steven and happy new year. "Ultimate " is no longer sufficient description for your sib version. Since apple [spit,] have been mucking about with their OSs, we need to know your EXACT version. Eg, mine is Ultimate 2023.11.1. The same thing applies to your mac os. Are you on sonoma, sierra, ventur...

Re: Playback Tempo Not Saved In Scores
1. Turn off live playback.
2. Make sure you use Tempo text style ([ctrl][alt]t - on windows)
3. Leave the slider alone. It is only for "quick and dirty" checks and it is not retained between sessions.
