Yeah we have this prob at school with ACID as well.

You can't change it in the group policy can you?

ATM - my students have to change playback devices once first time and thats it.

When I plug in the projector and the interactive whiteboard it automatically changes my screen resolution on my macbook to a lower resolution.

Then when I look at my scores the staves don't match the paper size and are hanging over the edges.

Any ideas on this? I can post a screen shot.

Maybe I can ask a similar Q. I get kids to draw notes on the electronic whiteboard with the pen. If they do the wrong note they then click again and ... sibelius makes 2 notes in the same beat (a chord) Is there a way to have the second click replace the 1st note? I want to put 'chorus' onto the top instrument but not the rest of the band (looks messy) when in full score. But how do I show the text 'chorus' on every band instrument without having to copy it to every one. Kinda like what rehersal marks does.

select bars - then create ossia?

I figured out how to hide empty staves but how to add extra ones.

Sibelius 5: Press Esc a couple of times; Create > Other > Instrument Change > All Instruments > Others [bottom of the Family menu] > No Instrument (hidden); click just before the beginning of the staff. (subasian)

I want to insert a couple of extra staves at maybe bar 3 & 4 and have them hanging down the bottom, but then have them disappear after those bars and back to one stave. Handy for graphical Scores.
