In the 2nd image the 2nd voice contains a whole note rest, not a bar rest.
Change it to a bar rest (select it and use the keypad layout 2).

The number quoted in the instructions is the one on the numberpad - NOT the top row of the keyboard. If you don't have a numpad, you need to use the laptop keyboard shortcuts.

Do you have an actual numpad? If not, you will have to use the 'Laptop shortcuts'.

Filter for the text styles in which the tempo changes are written and paste the result.

Check your sibelius keyboard shortcuts to make sure this one isn't being redirected. Could it be being hijacked by your OS?

If you are not using Sibelius Ultimate you do not have this facility. When Sibelius is loading, the splash screen should say Sibelius Ultimate. If it only says Sibelius, this is NOT the full product.

Put the notes in on one staff Select the ones you want to go into the other staff and press [ctrl/cmd][shift][up arrow] to move them up or [ctrl/cmd][shift][down arrow] to move them down.

Rests in the other staff will still be there and may need to be hidden.

Sibelius| First is a totally crippled and limited version - and it's free. You can't expect anything like full functionality. Even some of the most basic functions are missing.

Since I got my new computer, I find reading the small text on the board gives me a migraine. It's a combination of the small textx size and the brightness of the screen. is there any way I can increase the text size and/or lessen the background glare?
