Re: Never had this problem before?
Problem fixed, not solved, just fixed. It must have been a glitch in Sibelius. I just started a new score and copied and pasted into the new score and it worked out fine. Fortunately I just started the arrangement, about 16 bars so it didn't take much time.

Never had this problem before?
The abbreviation Tpt.4, (Trumpet 4) which appears on every page after the first page of my score got inadvertently moved to right above the Baritone Sax part and I cannot remove it. So, at the 4th trumpet staff there is nothing now and this is on every page. It cannot be highlighted and if I try to ...

Re: Lost part of an arrangement.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
Went back to my external HD and looked again more closely and found the full arrangement. It just didn't make sense that it wasn't in my external HD.

Re: Lost part of an arrangement.
I did all the checking you suggested and I'm coming up with the same score. I checked my external drive going back a full year and all I'm getting is the same score with just half of the arrangement. It looks like I inadvertently erased half of the score without realizing it. I must have done it whe...

Lost part of an arrangement.
I whet to open an arrangement I did about 5 months ago and when I did half of it was gone. I cannot find other saved ones and it seems that this is the only one I have saved. Shouldn't there be more than one back up file of projects? It's a good thing I printed the arrangement out when I wrote it. N...

Re: How Do I Post A Screen Shot?
Well, let me ask you this. Does Sibelius have that curved angle line that appears next to the "C"? And if it does where would I find it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: How Do I Post A Screen Shot?
Andyg, thanks for your reply. The screen shots I took were png files. I thought I could convert them by going to Info and changing the extension from png to jpg, but when I tried to post I got an error message saying there was a "mismatch" with the files and I could not post. The files are small, so...

How Do I Post A Screen Shot?
How do I post a screen shot or anything else I want to show here? It seems easier to show something rather than explain it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Creating a tie at the Coda.
At the end of my arrangement I have D.S. Al Coda. After going back to the "Sign" you come to the Coda Sign and from there you go to the Coda. This is the standard way it's done. At the Coda sign in the arrangement I have a Tie. The Coda sign sits right at that bar where I have a Tie. At the Coda, wh...

Bass does not play back.
When I put the cursor on any note in the score like the trumpet or trombone or sax and press "P" the score will play back from that note. When I do the same thing with the bass part, the score will play back from that note but the bass does not play back with the score. When I put the cursor on a ba...

New Problem
I've been putting notes into Sibelius via Flexi-time and it's always worked until now. I checked my input devices and my midi and everything checks out fine. I can hear the notes before I put them in when I play my keyboard, but when I hit the record button and start to play and record there is no s...

Re: Not Right Bass Sound
I went into Home>Add or Remove Instruments and when the window opened, on the right hand side I deleted the bass that I had and on the left side I chose Upright Bass and hit OK and it switched on my score.

Re: Not Right Bass Sound
So, don't you go into Sound Devices and use DLSMusicDevices? I don't understand how you just choose the plucked bass in the Bass Guitar section. Can you please explain the sounds you use for play back of your score?
Thanks.
Thanks.
