First, try trashing the 'Sibelius.rewire' file inside /Users/your username/Library/Application Support/Sibelius Software/Common.

If that doesn't help, next trash the 'PlogueEngine' folder inside /Users/your username/Library/Application Support/Sibelius Software/Sibelius 6.

Sibelius treats slurred notes as being part of the same melisma. Make sure you don't have slurs on those notes.

In the Multiple Part Appearance dialog, which you can access via the Parts window (Window menu, then choose Parts), you can switch on 'Keep title page' on the Layout tab to make the title page you have created in the score "show through" into the parts.

Lots of our users have both DP and Sibelius installed. The only time they should even be aware of each others' existence is if you instantiate Sibelius from within DP via ReWire.

There's no way to influence the default spelling used by MIDI file import at the moment, though this is on our wish list for future versions.

In the meantime, you can try Plug-ins > Accidentals > Simplify Accidentals, which should take care of it for you post facto.

Use View > Focus on Staves (in the Layout menu in Sibelius 3, Sibelius 4 and Sibelius 5).

On Mac, the General MIDI Module is located in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components, and it's called General MIDI Module.component. If you don't want it to appear in Garageband, Logic, Finale etc., then simply remove it from that folder. All that means is that you can't use the 'General MIDI (enhanced)...

This problem is caused by Adobe 3D Capture, which is part of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.

I've notified the folks at Adobe, but so far have not received any feedback from them.

PhotoScore integrates directly with Sibelius, whereas SmartScore does not. You may also be interested in trying out SharpEye (www.visiv.co.uk), which exports MusicXML files that Sibelius can import.

Go to 'Instruments' in House Style > Engraving Rules and switch off the drawing of the left system separator.

Sibelius 4 uses a different (newer) printing technology than G7, and no longer requires the 'Substitute resolution' option. If you're having problems printing from Sibelius 4, you should contact our technical support team directly.
