Add Slurs (Shift W) changes sound!

I'm working with Sibby 6.2 on an iMac. I'm using GPO4 as a sound source. Since I couldn't fine a way to use GPO's sounds for a click track, I also have Sibelius Essentials loaded in. All sounds work and sound great. However, when I use the shortcut suggested (select the note and hit S) nothing happens. I then tried to use the short cut (Shift W), and the slur appeared, but the instrument sound suddenly changed to a flute. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...
