Repeat Barline missing dots and shows as end barline

I have downloaded the demo of sibelius 6.1 to see if I like it. I really like it compared to Finale but I have found one problem that I can't figure it out.

When entering a start or repeat barline the dots are missing so it appears as an end bar. When you play the music it plays the repeats but I am going to be using this for teaching and need to know why it is doing it.

I have opened up the basic template for other things like big band and the repeat barline shows no problem when its entered.

Can anyone help?? I can't find any posts like this problem.

I am running Sibelius 6.1 on OSX 10.6.3
