Properties window stuck

Hi,

I seem to have a weird problem. My properties window got stuck in the top of my screen--I can see its lower half but cannot drag it around anymore and therefore cannot use it. Very inconvenient; how do I solve this?

Thanks,
Reinier

Hi Roman,

Thanks very much for your reply. As a matter of fact, I already read the thread you refer to before posting my question, but didn't find the answer there.

I've never used an external monitor, so that can't be it. Also, I've been using Sibelius on and off for some years now, and I've never had this particular problem.

The good news, however, is that the problem somehow solved itself--when I opened Sibelius to give it one last try last night the window was "free" again.

Nevertheless--thanks for your advise!

Sebasian posted this solution some while back:

Invoke the inaccessible window from its shortcut or the Windows menu; press alt-space to bring up the window's menu, select 'Move' and then using the cursor keys move the window back into view.

Works fine every time for me.

Thanks! The problem solved itself (or was solved by me without knowing how exactly) some time ago--but I'll keep this in mind when it happens again!

A frequent problem. Search past posts, maybe starting with these:

Thanks, Sebasian. If the problem occurs again I should be able to deal with it!
