Alesis SR-16 with Sibelius

I have a friend who is getting fairly proficient with the Sibelius program. I own an Alesis SR-16 drum machine, and am still learning the ropes with it. Is it possible to somehow use the Alesis as a drum parts 'input', (real time, or otherwise), into the Sibelius program? And if it is....how's it done? Thanks.
