REALLY STRANGE!!!

Hi - So, everything is going along fine. Then suddenly, when I'm taking the dot from a note (using the keypad) or changing the duration of the note, again using the keypad), the new note suddenly begins "inputting" itself automatically, note after note, usually on the 2nd line from the top of either a treble or bass clef. It just continues, adding bars, ad infinitum! The only way I can stop it is to do a "force quit," then re-open the file and try it again. This has just started happening in the last few days, since I downloaded a 6.2 version. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks in advance for any help...

Yeah, I thought about a stuck key, like the "R" key that keeps putting things in. After a couple of times, and a couple of re-boots, it seems to have "taken a cab to Jersey." Hope it stays away from me. Thanks for your concern...
