Sibelius 6 and Axiom Pro Crash

Hi - I'm using Sibelius 6.2.0 and an M-Audio Axiom Pro 61 running in the latest edition of Snow Leopard, 10.6.8. The Axiom Pro keeps having to be rebooted to regain connectivity to Sibelius, and after I reboot it and reselect it as an Input Device in Sibelius, Sibelius crashes. Also, when the Axiom Pro is working, it sends continuous signal to the MIDI input display - not sure what that means.

Any help would be much appreciated! :D
