I was wondering if there was a way when writing keyboard parts to use 'patch changes' instead of changing the instrument. For example, adding 'Xylophone' to the list of playable words to make the sound change to xylophone. I've fiddled around with it but can't seem to find away.
It's irritating when changing to (for example) cymbals, as the stave changes from five lines to one line which you would of course never see in a keyboard part.
Does anyone have any ideas?
