Hi,
I'm trying to use Sibelius 8 with Windows 10 and a midi controller. I can't work out how to get around the latency, which is apparently caused by the built-in Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth. I've tried using ASIO4ALL, and CooSoft VirtualMIDISynth, but can't get any sound with these. I imagine it's a configuration issue.

I get a couple of error messages (attached).

Thoughts?

Here's some things to consider.

I realize you are trying to fix a problem, but having your browser open and so many active tabs puts a load on your cpu. Plus, look at your taskbar. it is full of apps. I know they are there so that they open quickly when you need them. But they open quickly because they are partially open all the time. Also putting a load on your cpu. I don't know how powerful your computer is but the less you have running when Sibelius is open, the better.

Is this an evaluation copy of Sibelius? I see it is not activated. Of course things won't run right in this case.
