Heyo so i did make an original thread for this a few weeks ago but then when i finally uploaded the thread, it started working LOL.
so i ended up deleting it and now here i am, having the same exact problem as before because i dont even know how i fixed it, it just did it itself lmao.

whenever i try to open sibelious, it says i need to activate the program, even though i have already activated the program. then when i do that, it takes me to avid link, which doesnt even load into any of the log on info or search bars. it gives me nothing. i am a highschool student just trying to figure out how to get this stuff to work so i can finish my pieces for my music class and frankly, this isnt helping my cause LOL.

i am currently trying to use this on my windows 8.1 computer (i know its shit, im working on changing it to 10) and all of the drivers are up to date. anything helps, thanks!

There are known issues with Avid Link in some situations that affect subscriptions. Contact Avid directly. Set up a case (Follow the audio route on Avid's website.)

If you are a student, consider getting the very cheap educational version of Sib. It is the full Ultimate software for a one-off price that is loads cheaper than full price.

I know it seems a lot, but it's worth saving up for.

Or have Windows search your computer for "AvidLicenseControl.exe. Run the exe and you will see if Sibelius is indeed activated. You activation key is there also. I think I recall once having to deactivate it then reactivate it before it worked.
By the way. nothing wrong with W8.1.

Also, Sibelius should open anyway. You just won't be able to save any thing as well as a few other tasks.
