Hi all,

I added some pictures that show some issue with graphics in Sibelius. Strange alignment of dots, crotches etc. and text in menu bars not fitting. I have a gtx 970 and an ultrawide monitor. Any idea how to fix this?

I've only ever seen this on a mac. Check your windows display settings and make sure the resolution for the monitor is set properly/correctly for what the monitor is capable of displaying.

What are your pdfs/printouts like?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply. PDF and printout are fine. If I zoom in on the score the notes and crotches gradually shift in the correct place. Also, when I connect my laptop to the monitor and run sibelius from there it is fine. So, maybe it's the graphics card or some other setting. I have no issues with other programs I run on this computer. I just hoped someone had the same problem and found a solution.

Best regards, Henk-Jan

What is the native resolution of the monitor and what are the resolutions your graphics card is capable of? I have a large-ish monitor (27") attached to my laptop through HDMI. With the resolution at 1920 x 1080, I get a reasonable resolution in Sib.

The resolution of my monitor is 3440x1440 and my GTX970 can handle that very fine. At least in all other programs I use.

AFAIK, Sib will not cope well with ultra high resolution monitors.
