Correct TAB Playback for MOUNTAIN Dulcimer

It sure would be nice if I could play back TAB notation correctly for my Mountain Dulcimer scores. Sibelius lets you enter the correct TAB notation and print it beautifully, but playback of the TAB assumes that each fret increment is a half-step. This is NOT TRUE for a Mountain Dulcimer and many other fretted instruments. Even a function that allows you to specify what each fret increment is (half-step or whole-step) and design your own would be wonderful. I now have to use Tabledit to do this and although Tabledit is a nice program, I would prefer to have all the power of Sibelius at my disposal.
