Tuplets over the barline

It would be great if it were possible to input tuplets that cross over barlines without having to go through a whole mess. For example: in 4/4 time; writing a quarter-note-triplet that starts on beat 4 of the first measures and continues through beat 1 of the following measure.

Currently, to trick Sibelius into letting you enter a tuplet that crosses over a barline, you have to do a time signature change (e.g. if you're in 4/4, make an 8/4 bar), then insert in a manual barline (which never quite looks like it's in the right place), then hide all the time signature changes, then manually override the bar numbers so that the 8/4 bar counts as 2 measures.

I'm sure the software programing to make this process easier (and still play back correctly) is extremely complicated, but if you guys were able to make that whole magnetic objects thing work, I'm sure you can find a solution to this. I have confidence in your abilities to pull it off.
