Adjusting hairpins so they don't cross barlines

Sibelius beginners can discuss all things Sibelius here ("how do I...?").

I'm looking for a way to universally enter hairpins so they don't cross barlines with just a sliver sticking out when that measure ends up on the next page of a score or line of a part.

This is in reference to crescendi or descrescendi that are meant to end at the barline...as in a four count crescendo from count 1 through count 4 leading up to a new dynamic marking right on count 1.

Thank you.

Bad luck - Sibelius has a dogged resistence to fixing bugs like this. The behavior is endemic with Sibelius lines, and you have to adjust most of them by hand. My practice is to make a hairpin that lasts 3 beats, grab the whole hairpin (not one of the nodes) and move it to where I want it. It still isn't right, but I've never encountered any other fix.
