HELP!
I am working on a transcription of the Chaminade flute concertino for Clarinet.
I am using Sibelius 2 to work on it but am having difficulty entering a particular bar!
At bar 33 (Piu animato e agitato) there is a rather akward tremolo in the piano part.
The part is in 4/4 and the bar consists of two dotted crotchets with 3 trem lines between followed by two minims with 3 trem lines between. Sibelius will just not take it!! Any ideas people?
Thanks,
Rob
Hi there Rob
Hmmm, a dotted crotchet tremolo, then a minim tremolo.
Well, maybe this'll work.
1. Input dotted quaver for the 'left' tremolo bit, followed immediately by dotted quaver for 'right' bit.
2. Select these two bits, then go to keypad area 3, select three lines through (number 3), then tremolo button (Enter). Voila!
3. After this, put two crotchets side by side, repeat the process.
That should leave you a quaver remaining in the bar.
The problem you may be experiencing is that you have to input the tremolo notes initially in half the duration of the final appearance, i.e. in this case dotted quavers and then crotchets.
Hope this helps and best of luck with the transcription,
Julio
