I read and read and cannot see where it says changing the tempo in a score.
So, if I have a tempo or meter (speed) at the beginning of my score and want to change it later on, how would I do that? If i want to go from 100 to 148 (that would be a quarter note)

Changing the tempo in the score?
Select something in the bar where you want to change and use Create > Text > Tempo (shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+T)*. You could also use Metronome Mark Text (Ctrl+Alt+M).sus4 wrote: if I have a tempo or meter (speed) at the beginning of my score and want to change it later on, how would I do that?
To get the note, hold Ctrl and press the 4 on the keypad (for quarter/crotchet, or the other keys for whatever note value you want) then just type " = 148". Like all text input in Sibelius, use ESC to escape.

Hey !
I'm a Macbook pro use and after I activate the "Tempo" in Text style (as you mentioned) the Command + 4 shortcut doesn't work for a quarter note, and I can't find it anywhere in the Keyboard shortcuts. Right clicking the activated place and choosing the quarter note is too time consuming for the long run and would love to find a shortcut. Would highly appreciate any input on this topic. Can't seem to solve it for years.
Many thanks

Do you have an actual numpad? If not, you will have to use the 'Laptop shortcuts'.

So, you need to either buy an external (USB) numpad or use the alreay assigned laptop set.
