I just created my account, so I hope this is the right place!
I've had Sibelius Students for a little over a year now. I'm a music student, and would like to learn to write at least semi-decent music with this program (my music theory is quite limited, but I'm working on that).
I've heard that some composers will use "samples," (or it look slike some poeple call them soundfonts), that make their music actually sound like it is being played, rather than a default computer playing the sounds.
Does anyone know how to get a free trial version, or better yet, a free mini version of Sibelius samples? I have seen that the full orchestra version is about $100, which I can't afford.
