Inserting Picture

Hi all,
Is it possible to insert a picture (like clipart) into a score? I've tried the help file, but can't seem to get it working. I'm using sibelius 4.

You can insert a TIFF file (but no other file type) via Create > Graphic.

Section 7.3 of the Sibelius 4 on-line Reference gives all the details you need, and in addition there is a Tutorial video (click on 'Help') about importing graphics.

Is there any way of converting a jpeg of gif file to tiff?

I used to use a special file-translating program called Omniformat (a free download) but now I just load a .jpg into one of my graphics programs and save/export as .tiff — most graphics programs allow this.
