Sibelius beginners can discuss all things Sibelius here ("how do I...?").

In a short test score, 1 instrument, I have written several dynamics texts (p, pp, mf,..). When exported to MIDI all velocities are set to 95, .... why is it so? Is there any place in Sib6 where I might have said: "ignore dynamics"?

thanks

Make sure you don't have Play > Live Playback switched on.

Not really: it's an option that you had switched on. It's up to you to decide what you want the software to do and set the options accordingly. Sibelius is clever, but it can't read your mind.

you mean that the Live Playback and Performance Options of the Playback menu can be configured in Preferences by the user?

These settings are saved in each score, so if you want to make a particular set of changes and then have these applied to all scores, export a manuscript paper based on a score with those settings, and start your new scores from that manuscript paper.

The live playback performance can sometimes ruin what we want to sound in our score. Make sure to turn it off if it is giving you a hard time.
