How do you make parts 1 and 2 in line? example when i write a bass drum in crotchets on 1, then add the hi-hats in quavers on 2 - then it missaligns them.. very annoying and i'm sure it's something easy..

Hi, i have a problem when writing drum parts - i'm sure it's something easy.
How do you make parts 1 and 2 in line? example when i write a bass drum in crotchets on 1, then add the hi-hats in quavers on 2 - then it missaligns them.. very annoying and i'm sure it's something easy..

Don't re-input what you've done, though: you can swap Voice 1 and Voice 2 by selecting a passage (or the whole staff) and clicking on
Edit > Voice > Swap 1 & 2 (shortcut Shift-V).
