Contemporary scores in Sibelius

Sibelius beginners can discuss all things Sibelius here ("how do I...?").

Hi. I want to create a contemporary score in Sibelius 6 like the one you see when you click the link.

What I want on the score is a high/middle/low part (no instrument specified) and a piano part.
When I try and set up a score, all the parts are joined by a brace thingy. As you can see from the contemporary score example, I want each part to come in at a different times and therefore not be joined up.

Is there an easy way to create a score that looks like the one linked?

Here is the linked score... its example No. 14 by Stockhousen.

Thank you. :)

There is nothing exceptional about the Stockhausen — unlike some of the other examples in the link.

Perhaps you meant one of the other examples. Possibly you need to look at this tutorial on 'cutaway' or 'scrapbook' scores:
http://www.sibeliusblog.com/tutorials/c ... -sibelius/
(There is a more advanced tutorial as well, also on the Sibeliusblog site).

You may also need to know that in All Instruments > Family > Others there are unnamed treble and bass instruments if you need anonymous staves. They will play back as piano. Or you can just double-click on the instrument name to the left of the stave and edit it to whatever you like.

If none of this helps, ask again with a more specific idea of what exactly you want to do.
