Hi - I'm not a newbie, but I really feel like one. I've got 7.1 on my iMac and 6.2 on my MacBook Pro. When I got 7, I got the CDs and upgraded from 6 to 7 on my iMac with no problem. Now I want to do the same thing on my MacBook Pro. I insert the Install Disc and get the message that the Installer is unable to open. I've seen examples of "Unregistering" 6, freeing up a license, but then it says that for moving that version to another computer, not what I want to do. I've also gone through the process in updating to 7.1 of acquiring the new System ID and Activation ID numbers, but I did that online, not with the CDs that are now giving me trouble. Any suggestions for this old "newbie" would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
