moving passages without deleting the target stave

Not a new topic, but I can't find my way to achieve that

I have a percussion , multivoice, staff,..

I want to "move" to another non-empty stave (so insert, without overwritting the contents of the destination staff) a selection made by advanced filter (in my case, hits of the same instrument, so note A3 head 2, or notes A2 to A3, head 2)....

looks like Ctl-Alt-click should do the trick, but it overrides...

How can I achieve that? I am on sibelius 6
