I'm brand new to Sibelius First and I'm not sure how to get SF to input this correctly (see attached image). The piece is in 4/4 time.

Three notes are slurred over the time period of a quarter note. Sibelius likes to add rests (which in this case aren't helpful) to complete the measure and I'm finding it hard to create the same sequence as seen in the score image.

For the triplet, enter the first 8th note (on beat 4) then press Ctrl+3. You should see the triplet bracket appear, and you can then enter the other two 8ths.

Help file, para 3.9 "Triplets and other tuplets".
