Can Sibelius play simply entered chord symbols?

Sibelius beginners can discuss all things Sibelius here ("how do I...?").

I entered a notes with my keyboard or mouse in Sibelius score, and in the Text mode with the activated option "Chord symbol", entered Chord name above the notes. After that I press the key "P" for playback and have no chord (played), only one note played. Can you help me with that, is there an aption like one in a "Finale" to play whole chord, entered in this way. I does not prefer enetering chords via midi keyboard. Thanks for you opinion and help. You can use the Plugin called Realize chord symbols which adds a new instrument (Piano or Guitar) and fills in the notes from the chord text. I don't think Sibelius plays chords from symbols directly as such.

Where can I find this plugin? I didn't find it in the Chord Symbols plugins list.

Rather than that, try this.

In your example, on the first beat enter the notes in the chord just the way you want them. That would include how many notes and what inversion. You get to choose, rather than a canned plug in. Then hit "r" on your computer keyboard. Now you have the same chord on beat two. Hit "r" for as many beats as that chord needs. You can use the "r" function for beats, measures, and entire sections. Much more useful(and faster)to me.
