Hello

I am a new user of Sibelius First.

I am looking for a way to change the font sizes (song text) in Sibelis First for the complete piece.
Could you please help me how to change this?

Thanks

To change the font size of notation text ('text' text was easy leaving me with a giant 'rit' and a small 'a tempo'..) was not easy to find click to open the box with all the notations highlight the one you want, choose edit and then click on edit next to the Text radio button and then select a smaller font from the list. I think this changes rit for all time it is used. There must be a better way to have notation commands smaller when you want them smaller I hope.

To change the size of everything in the score, change the Staff Size in Layout.

To change the size of something like an individual rit. instruction, try selecting it and going to Text in the ribbon and you'll find a text size box.

Of course, this is assuming that Sibelius First actually allows you to do this. First is now so stripped down it's almost worthless. Musescore 3 does a better job of things and it's free, just like First.

The free program Sibelius|First does not allow you to change the text size of a style, other than through the Size box of a selected text.
