Rebar
I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question. Can you explain what you want more thoroughly?

have a look at measure 10 above.
It's q h q
but should be rebared to q q_q q
Is there a button to do this automatically?
OK, I understand. the short answer is no.
There is no automatic shortcut to this. However, why do you consider this to be wrong? It is syncopation which is very common. If it's purely a matter of style, then consider which is clearer - unless you are rescoring music that needs to be written in a certain way.
FWIW, you could assign a shortcut to de-syncopate the bar which performs the following steps -
select the minim,
change it to a crotchet,
add a tie, and then
repeat the crotchet

Well, I don't think a macro is solving it for me, as it's typical a lot of variations.
Sometimes entering the notes the easiest way is just faster, but not always correct/wanted.
Finale and Musescore has this rebar feature.
But yes,
I will learn more about what's better/common in these cases.
Do you know any paper for recommended practice?
There's always the famouse "Behind Bars" by Elaine Gould. Get the hardback, tough, the Kindle version is really difficult to read on screen (at least it is for me!).

Seems like a must have for me
